AI is Not Responding as Expected

iOS

If palmEM AI is not responding as expected on iOS, please follow these steps to resolve:

  1. Restart your device to eliminate temporary conflicts.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Apps > Safari > Advanced > Website Data.
  3. In the search box, enter "palm-er".
  4. Swipe left and tap 'Delete' to remove palm-er.com.
  5. Exit palmEM by opening the App Switcher and swiping up on the app, then reopen palmEM. The AI should now be responsive.

If these steps do not resolve the issue on iOS:

The following steps will require you to sign back in to your palmEM account. Please ensure that you know the email used for your palmEM account which may be different from your Apple Account (formerly Apple ID).

You can locate your palmEM account email in the welcome email you received or within the app by selecting the menu and navigating to Settings.

Any saved notes will be restored. However, you will need to re-add any bookmarks.

  1. To close palmEM entirely, open the App Switcher and swipe up on the app.
  2. Ensure palm-ER Website Data is cleared as above.
  3. Delete palmEM from your device and re-install the app from the App Store.
  4. Open palmEM and Sign In to your palmEM account.

Android

If palmEM AI is not responding as expected on Android, please follow these steps to resolve:

These steps may slightly differ depending on your device. You’re looking for the Apps Storage info page to clear the app's cache.

  1. Restart your device to eliminate temporary conflicts.
  2. Navigate to go to Settings > Storage > Apps.
  3. Select palmEM.
  4. Select Clear cache.
  5. Restart palmEM.

If these steps do not resolve the issue on Android:

The following steps will require you to sign back in to your palmEM account. Please ensure that you know the email used for your palmEM account which may be different from your Google Account.

You can locate your palmEM account email in the welcome email you received or within the app by selecting the menu ☰ and navigating to Settings.

Any saved notes will be restored. However, you will need to re-add any bookmarks.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Storage > Apps.
  2. Select palmEM.
  3. Select Clear cache AND Clear storage.
  4. Open the Google Play Store app.
  5. At the top right, tap the Profile icon.
  6. Tap Manage apps & devices > Manage.
  7. Select palmEM.
  8. Tap Uninstall.
  9. Re-install palmEM from the Google Play Store.
  10. Open palmEM and Sign In to your palmEM account.
